The SOBs got me hook line and sinker lol. I assume Politoed and Kingdra are gonna be popular... They’re ok in doubles but I have no idea about singles 3v3 meta so I just prepared a dual screen Klefki and some setup mons. So I just heard the expansion gives you some sort of option for giving Gigantamax to Pokémon that weren’t caught in a Gigantamax form. The characters are charming and interesting, but the story barely exists.
The Isle of Armor Pokédex Like every region in every game, the Galar region has its own specific Pokédex which contains all the Pokémon available within the region. Does anyone happen to have a Turtonator or Flapple they could trade or touch-trade me? Playing through Crystal on the VC now to get all the Johto Legendaries. In the Isle of Armor, you will find Armorite Ore. You'll be able to exchange this ore in order to get various different new moves. Going to try and use wishing pieces to make a Slurpuff Max Raid pop up and then trade that on GTS for Aromatisee. It should be very hard to do though, so that you could only do it a few times.
Got myself another Eviolite now. making my way through this pretty slowly. Last few Pokemon for Isle of Armor dex.
I got a hacked evolution of his name MACHAMPS.COM on Wonder Trade and am thinking I'll keep him unevolved for living Dex?

Some of these combinations are kind of tricky to get. Can you finish this without evolving your Cubfu? Just need to do some breeding and stuff. Catching and exploring with your Pokemon is fun, but there's no real gameplay challenge. Thanks everyone for your impressions and answers.
GTS is still available on USUM afaik. Logged on last night after a while and it looked like I had been trying to breed something but couldn't remember what.
Just need 3 Max Mushrooms for it and a Max Mushroom spawns in the Isle of Armor for every 3 raids you do in there. You must log in or register to reply here.
I agree that as a "wild area" it's much better than the main game's wild area, with the geography being more interesting and varied and worth exploring.
So now that the dust has settled, how are people feeling about this first expansion?

I wasn’t planning on spending money on home and bank but I started playing my old games from GBA to now to get ready to pass the older games down to my kids and wipe the files on the games I knew I would no longer touch, and I had tons of decent mons that were at risk of going into the void, so many memories, legit event Pokemon and shiny Pokemon that I forgot I even had.

Moved onto working through getting the rest of my dex filled on Home. I have a few shiny pokemon that can be redeemed. I was hoping to find a Rockruff with Own Tempo. Any Pokémon with a Gigantamax Form yeah (except Melmetal). Like if I train up a non-Gigantamax Pokemon and want to give them that trait I can? That was one of my biggest issues with the base Sw/Sh. Only need Slurpuff and Aromatisse and I'l have finished the Galar Pokedex! When I got to that point, I had finished catching all the ones from the base game through raid battles.
Managed to trade a spare Mewtwo on GTS for Zamensta, so I at least have all the legendaries from Galar. Pokémon Sword & Shield Discussion .
